Shipping policy

1. Processing time

Orders are prepared and dispatched after payment confirmation:. Shipped within 1–2 working days


2. Delivery time (after dispatch)

Orders are packed as soon as possible. Delivery time may depend on your location and the courier. You will receive tracking details once your parcel is on its way.


3. Supported shipping partners

We work with trusted South African logistics providers such as:

  • The Courier Guy

  • Pudo Lockers

  • or other reliable national courier services integrated into our store


4. Shipping coverage

We deliver to:

  • All major cities, towns, and regional areas in South Africa

  • PO Boxes are not supported — a physical address is required

  • Rural or outlying areas may have longer delivery times depending on courier reach


5. Order tracking

After dispatch you will receive:

  • A tracking number via email or SMS (where supported)

  • Live updates depending on the courier used

If you do not receive tracking details within 4 working days, please contact us.


6. Shipping fees

  • Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and delivery method

  • Free shipping promotions may be offered and will be clearly displayed in store

  • Address corrections or redelivery requests after dispatch may incur extra fees


7. Lost, damaged, or delayed parcels

If your order is:

  • Damaged in transit: Report within 48 hours with photos

  • Lost by courier: We will work with the carrier to resolve it

  • Delayed: We will assist by requesting updates from the courier

Scoops of Whimsy is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers.


8. Returned parcels due to delivery failure

If a parcel returns to us due to:

  • Incorrect address provided

  • Failed delivery attempts

  • Non-collection from a locker/pickup point

Then:

  • We will notify you

  • Reshipping fees will apply to send it again


9. International shipping (future use)

We currently ship within South Africa only. Should international shipping become available, customs fees and import duties will be for the customer’s account.
